Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Stride Financials (the “Service”), operated by New Stride Media. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Not financial advice. Stride Financials provides analytics software. It is not a licensed financial, tax, investment, or legal advisor. The AI CFO is an informational tool and may produce inaccurate output. Always consult a qualified professional before making material business decisions.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any applicable law.
- Upload data you do not have the right to use.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service except as part of a responsible-disclosure submission to us.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code.
- Use the Service to build a competing product.
- Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
4. Beta program
The Service is currently offered in a beta period. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We provide the beta “as is” and do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. We will give beta users reasonable notice before introducing paid plans.
5. AI output
The AI CFO is powered by Claude from Anthropic. AI output is generated automatically and may be incorrect, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for verifying any output before acting on it.
6. Your content
You retain all rights to the data you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to operate the Service for you.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if continued provision of the Service is no longer commercially feasible. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days unless we are required to retain it by law.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEW STRIDE MEDIA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the product or by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
